Cardi B Dropped a New Track at WWE SummerSlam 2025
Cardi B officially entered the WWE universe on Saturday night (Aug. 2). The rap Queen made her much-anticipated debut as host of night one of “SummerSlam 2025” at MetLife Stadium. As expected, she didn’t come quietly.
After years of playful back-and-forth with fans, the Bronx-born star finally made good on her wrestling fandom. Clad in a sleek all-black ensemble, Cardi strutted down the entrance ramp like she owned it. Hence, as a true icon, she didn’t miss the opportunity to drop an unreleased track, likely from her upcoming album “Am I the Drama?”
“Hello, it’s me,” she rapped, her signature charisma on full display. The crowd of 50,000 roared in response. They truly matched her fever-pitch energy as she entered the ring and grabbed the mic. What followed was peak Cardi B: bold, hilarious, and full of fire.
“We’re coming to you live from the Tri-State!” she shouted to the roaring audience. “We’re making history tonight because this is the first-ever two-day SummerSlam. Yeah!” Thus, she hyped up the evening’s headliners, Logan Paul and Randy Orton. So, after that, she added, “We’re going to be talking about this forever.”
So, this marks the latest crossover moment between music and wrestling. It’s a space that’s recently welcomed artists like Bad Bunny, Travis Scott, and Metro Boomin. On night one, country breakout Jelly Roll also made waves with his in-ring debut. He joined Randy Orton in a tag-team showdown against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. In a matchup that follows Jelly Roll’s now-viral choke-slam of Paul during a recent Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance.
Hence, with her debut, Cardi B doesn’t just join a growing list of artists tapping into the WWE zeitgeist. She raises the bar. Whether “Am I the Drama?” drops this summer or not, one thing’s for sure. Thus, she just made SummerSlam a lot harder to forget.
