Tyla & Travis Scott Make a Splash in Steamy “Water” Remix Video
The wait is over for fans of Tyla ‘s “Water” remix featuring Travis Scott. The scorching collaboration gets a visually striking music video directed by the acclaimed Nabil Elderkin.
The clip arrives just ahead of Tyla’s self-titled debut album, dropping this Friday, March 22nd. The video opens with Tyla and Scott on opposite sides of a steam-filled glass shower, mirroring the separation in the lyrics. Tyla delivers the opening verse and chorus, her vocals confident and alluring.
Scott, sporting a sleek Balenciaga racing suit, slides in with his signature flow: “When you’re low, keep you hot like flame (Flame) / Can make your whole life change (Change) / She’s a palm tree body, yeah, but the wrist plain.” The video cleverly unites them on the same side of the glass by the song’s end, a visual representation of their dynamic on the track.
Tyla recently took to Instagram to express her excitement about the project’s global reach. “Everything that’s happening has surpassed anything I could have dreamt of,” she wrote. “African music is going global and I’m so blessed to be one of the artists pushing the culture. I’ve been working on my sound for 2 years now and I’m so ready for the world to hear it.”
With the “Water” remix video making waves, anticipation is high for Tyla’s self-titled debut. Stream the remix now and mark your calendars for TYLA’s official release on March 22nd.
