Doechii and Tyler, the Creator at Louis Vuitton show

Doechii and Tyler Perform at The Louis Vuitton Show

At Tuesday’s Louis Vuitton SS26 show in Paris, Doechii and Tyler, the Creator, unveiled their new collaboration. The duo performed “Get Right,” produced by Pharrell. So, they brought an electrifying performance that gave fans a glimpse into the highly anticipated track. This marked the latest chapter in their ongoing creative partnership.

Thus, the performance culminated in a significant collaboration between Doechii and Pharrell. Notably, he also serves as the men’s creative director at Louis Vuitton. The rapper and Pharrell first worked together on her striking Met Gala look earlier this year. She described it as “heavily inspired” by Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book. The book pivotally influenced the Met Gala theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” Doechii’s presence at the event went beyond fashion. Additionally, she served as one of the Costume Institute Benefit Host Committee members. Pharrell co-chaired the event alongside A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, and Lewis Hamilton.

Doechii and Tyler, the Creator Collaborations

“Get Right” is the second collaboration between Doechii and Tyler following their previous hit, “Balloon.” It came in 2024, topping the Billboard 200. “Balloon” reached No. 56 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was brought to life during a memorable performance at Camp Flog Gnaw. The performance took place last November. In a March interview with Nardwuar, Tyler couldn’t help but gush over Doechii’s talent, calling her “genius.”

So, the show featured other star-studded moments, including Pharrell’s production of Clipse’s “So Be It Pt. II.” Beyoncé, Jay-Z, J-Hope, and Future were also sitting in front. After the show, Pharrell gifted Beyoncé one of the exclusive bags from the runway. This followed her sold-out run of three shows in Paris during her Cowboy Carter Tour.

As Pharrell continues to shape the future of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection, his collaborations with artists like Doechii and Tyler remain a cornerstone of his creative vision, blurring the lines between fashion, music, and culture.
