Nicki Minaj Responds with Fierce Energy on Megan Thee Stallion Diss Track “Big Foot”

Nicki Minaj isn’t one to stay silent when her name is in the mix, especially when it comes to addressing alleged disses. After a weekend of social media exchanges sparked by Megan Thee Stallion‘s track “HISS,” Minaj has fired back with her latest single, “Big Foot.”

In this nearly four-and-a-half-minute track, the Pink Friday 2 artist takes a jab at the 2020 incident involving Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion, where Lanez shot the Houston rapper in the foot. Minaj’s lyrics include, “Bad bitch she like six foot / I call her big foot / The bitch fell off, I said get up on your good foot.” Not stopping there, Minaj also references Megan’s late mother and drops the name of Megan’s ex-boyfriend, Pardison Fontaine, whom Megan accused of infidelity in her track “Cobra.”

The feud between Minaj and Megan has been simmering for some time, but it escalated over the weekend. The tipping point was Megan’s line in “HISS” that caught Minaj’s ire: “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan / These hoes mad at Megan’s Law.” The line references the U.S. federal law, Megan’s Law, which mandates the disclosure of information about registered sex offenders to the public. The law was enacted in response to the 1994 rape and murder of seven-year-old Megan Kanka.
