GloRilla Joins Forces With Moneybagg for “On Wat U On”

A true drama, a lovers’ quarrel, and a hell of a good music video from our favorite rappers GloRilla and Moneybagg. “On Wat U On” is a powerful song with already 3,6 million views. The two Memphis stars are both signed to CMG and this is their first collaboration.
“Glorilla signed with Yo Gotti’s CMG last year after the success of her single “F.N.F. (Let’s Go).” She soon appeared on the label’s Gangsta Art compilation, contributing another hit, “Tomorrow.” (Moneybagg Yo also featured across Gangsta Art, but never on the same track as Glorilla.) GloRilla released her debut EP, Anyways, Life’s Great…, in the fall via CMG and Interscope,” Pitchfork reports. “Moneybagg Yo shared his latest full-length, A Gangsta’s Pain, in 2021. He more recently dropped the single ‘Quickie.’”

Tennessee rapper GloRilla makes anthems that celebrate female independence with unapologetic intensity. Her 2022 Hitkidd-produced single “FNF (Let’s Go)” was a viral smash, racking up more than eight million plays on streaming services and collecting nearly 25 million views of its accompanying video. GloRilla’s overnight success quickly led CMG label boss Yo Gotti to sign her, and she released subsequent singles like “Tomorrow” from the label showcase compilation Gangsta Art.
