Q: Can you briefly introduce yourself and your style of music to those who may be discovering your work for the first time?
A: I am Blink, from the sunshine of the beautiful state of Florida, where you can enjoy the breeze in the trees that gives endless peace. Those who are discovering my music for the first time will feel a steezy smooth classical style with rhythm to keep any individuals bobbing their heads.
Q: If you had to choose a word to describe the vibe of “Leave This Club,” what would that word be, and why?
A: Smooth!!! I say this because it gives off a smooth infectious vibe that will keep the audience listening and coming back for more.
Q: How involved were you in the conceptualization of the “Leave This Club” music video, and what was the experience like?
A: I was very involved with the music video because I wanted to mainly highlight my fashion and style through every scene. This was all possible through the work of my amazing team, Best camera guys.
Q: Who are your fashion icons, and what elements of their style do you find most inspiring?
A: Janet Jackson, Neyo, Robin Thicke and Usher!! Janet Jackson gives a classy elegant vibe that has inspired me so much with the smooth rhythm and blues. Neyo has inspired me with the gentlemanly style that I love to this day. Robin Thicke and Usher with their smooth vocals and tux suits have always Inspired me even with my music.
Q: When it comes to creating music, what does your typical creative process look like? How do you approach crafting a new song?
A: Typically whatever musical vibe I’m feeling. I want to make music for all audiences. When I approach making a new song I want it to be multicultural for everyone of all ages to listen to.
Q: Apart from your musical prowess, do you have any hidden talents or hobbies that fans might be surprised to learn about?
A: Well I graduated from the University of Florida with an Accounting and Geography Degree. My hidden talent is Origami Folding.
Q: What does success look like to you?
A: Success is having people from all different cultural backgrounds unified and enjoying Blink’s music worldwide.
