Doja Cat Released Tracklist of The New Album “Vice”

Doja Cat keeps fans on their toes as she teases details about her highly anticipated new album, Vice. Over the weekend, the genre-blending singer shared what appears to be the most updated tracklist for the new album. This marks her second public reveal after a previously posted (and swiftly deleted) lineup surfaced last November.

The latest list, which Doja Cat posted on Instagram on Sunday (April 13), features 16 tracks and hints. So, they are now more refined and finalized direction for Vice. While she offered no official release date or lead single, she wrote an enigmatic caption—”don’t ask me where the crack is rn.” In this way, playfully acknowledging the omission of the previously revealed song “Crack,” further fueling speculation among fans.

Also, among the returning tracks is “Turn the Lights On,” which appeared in the earlier version. However, several songs from the initial 13-song roster—including “Break My Heart,” “Take Me Dancing,” “Anything,” “Ain’t News,” “Slow Burn,” “Wood Holly,” “Did I Lie,” and “Appreciation”—are conspicuously absent from this latest iteration.

The newly surfaced tracklist reads as follows:

  1. Turn the Lights On
  2. Slide
  3. One More Time
  4. Make It Up
  5. Lipstain
  6. Kink
  7. Jealous Type
  8. I Like You
  9. Happy
  10. Gorgeous
  11. Couples Therapy
  12. Come Back
  13. Cards
  14. Amen
  15. All Mine
  16. Acts of Service

On Instagram Live this past weekend, fans were treated to a snippet of “Jealous Type,” a bouncy, Janet Jackson-esque pop-funk groove that sees Doja crooning in a sultry, breathy register. “Boy, let me know if this is careless. I could be torn between two roads that I just can’t decide. Which one is leading me to hell or paradise?” she sings. “Baby, I can’t hurt you, sure, but I’m the jealous type. I’m the jealous type.”

This isn’t the first time Doja Cat has previewed new material from Vice. In March, she teased “Acts of Service” and “Lipstain,” which appear to explore a more introspective, slow-burn style—perhaps signaling a shift from the razor-edged provocation of 2023’s Scarlet.

Thus, Vice will mark Doja Cat’s fifth studio album and follow Scarlet‘s release, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at No. 2 on the Top Rap Albums chart. That project showcased the artist’s darker, more confrontational side, with standout tracks that leaned into industrial beats and sharp-edged lyricism. A deluxe edition, Scarlet 2 CLAUDE, arrived in May 2024, featuring additional tracks that further blurred the lines between pop, rap, and avant-garde R&B.

Beyond her solo work, Doja has kept busy with high-profile collaborations, including “Born Again” alongside BLACKPINK’s Lisa, British singer-songwriter RAYE, and a recent feature on Jack Harlow’s “Just Us.”

With Vice, Doja Cat is once again poised to challenge expectations and expand her sonic universe. While details remain under wraps, the unfolding glimpses suggest a project that balances her signature swagger with emotional vulnerability—and potentially her most adventurous record yet.

Stay tuned.
